This use to work, however since yesterday on my machine, macOS Big Sur. ![]() These cookies ensure basic functionalities and security features of the website, anonymously. Describe the bug Unable to save, when using a recent TiddlyWiki file in TiddlyDesktop located in an encrypted mac DMG volume. Necessary cookies are absolutely essential for the website to function properly. There are a few issues with it that relate, mainly, to the fact it is not a full browser, its runs on the core of Chrome, but lacks some of its features. This app also seems to be compatible with a Google Drive plugin app I use called "Tiddly Drive" which is free and allows me to access/modify/save Tiddlywikis saved on Google Drive within a Chrome browser. It works on desktops like a normal application-which is a big plus as you don't need to mess about with saving as it does it automatically-as well as backups. Hit the radio button next to "Google Drive" so that it turns "Done" in the upper right corner. HOW TO CHANGE "Location" FROM "iCloud Drive" to "Google to the main screen of the application ("Quine 2" should be in orange letters at the top of the the three dots in the top right of the screen, select "Edit" from the pop up Screen should now list "Locations" with radio buttons next to them. I'm happy with the App functionality, but because of this warning and anxiety that the system might go sideways at some point I'm rating the app 4/5 stars. Internet searches on this issue did not provide further info either. Both are a dedicated browsers for TiddlyWiki that save changes automatically to the local file system, which can then be synced as desired (I use both Dropbox and Git). Next to it is a menu with a friendly-worded document titled "Understand Permissions" explaining this issue. I use TiddlyDesktop on my Mac and Quine on my iPad/iPhoen. I'm struggling with how to "Grant Permissions", I still have the warning triangle displayed on my Wikis. TIP ON HOW TO ACCESS FILES VIA GOOGLE BELOW I don't know about Tiddly Desktop, sorry. This app allows me to access, modify, and save the Tiddlywiki files I have saved on Google Drive. ![]() Thanks for the clarification discussion #3 Am I right in thinking this limitation applies to Tiddly Desktop as well? discussion #2Īha, yes I did misunderstand the designed behavior. (It's because web browsers' security policies don't allow it.)īut you can manually upload the locally modified site by using the "Upload" option from the "Actions" menu at. You can't save directly to Tiddlyhost from a locally downloaded site, so I think you're describing expected behaviour. It's not there and appears that the downloaded file was never able to upload discussion #1 well as network and local file or folder links (full path not required) and internal page links. The new tiddler should be listed in the All tab Observed Results Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder Files - Backup/Restore. ![]() ) to newly created site in "Server URL" input box under Control Panel | Saving | TiddlySpot Saver Create site by entering a name and checking private.Saving configuration instructions: Repro steps I've followed the directions linked below, but have not been able to get any changes to save back to TiddlyHost from a downloaded file. Creating a site, downloading it and immediately trying to save does not appear to work.
